Indian Masala Omelette - Taste of India
omelet is a dish prepared from beaten egg and frying in oil or butter. In Indian style, spices and vegetables are added to make masala omelet such as coriander and cumin powder, chop onion, tomato, coriander leaf and green chili . omelet should be cooked on medium to low heat at the temperature of 175 degree Celsius approximately. - Tomato 1o gm
- green chili for spicy
- coriander 1 tsp
- cumin powder 5gm
- coriander powder 5gm
- pepper powder 2gm
Method of preparation
- Break the egg and add chop onion, tomato, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt and pepper and beat properly .
- Heat a pan with butter or oil and add batter into it and cook in medium to slow flame . The color of omelet should be pale in color .
Culinarian notes
- The perfect color of omelet should be pale in color or very slightly golden in color .
- Always use a non stick-pan to make omelet .
- you can also add garam masala for more flavor .
- Before chopping the tomato, deseeding it .

- you can give any suitable salad or grilled vegetables such as cherry tomato, carrot, cauliflower, french beans and so on.
- you can also add toast, grill bread slice .
