How To Make Basic Egg Fried Rice


To make this homemade style egg fried rice, I took whatever ingredients i see. In my little kitchen i found vegetables such as carrot, cabbage, green pea, green chilly, spring oion, lemon, ginger and garlic and seasoning like salt and black crushed pepper . This is winter season such kind of ingredients can be easily found in any home kitchen. you can try my this recipe and enjoy having with your family. There is no any rules to use, you can added whatever you find in your cooking room just like French bean, capsicum, coriander, leek, cauliflower, onion and so on. please keep in mind that vegetable like bottle gourd, pumpkin , bitter gourd and other some vegetables are not suitable . fried rice is flavored with ginger, garlic and black pepper .

Ingredients
  • steamed rice                  100gm
  • green pea                       20gm
  • carrot                              20gm
  • cabbage                          20gm          
  • onion                               15gm  
  • garlic                                10gm
  • ginger                              10gm
  • green chili                       as per spicy
  • lemon juice                      2ml
  • spring onion                   10gm
  • black pepper                   half tsp
  • salt                                   To taste
  • MSG                                  5gm
  • oil                                      5ml

Method of preparing
1. Dice the carrot, cabbage and chop the ginger, garlic, green chili and ready other ingredients like lemon and pea  & first make scramble egg and keep it aside in a separate bowl.


2. sautĂ© the ginger, garlic and onion in oil or butter in the same pan till the light golden color and then sautĂ© small dice carrot, cabbage, green pea and chop green chili .after that add cooked rice and seasoning with salt and crushed pepper 
.

3. Add chop spring onion just before turning off the flame and garnishing with spring onion.


Chef Notes
  • The quantity of the vegetables can be up down and you can increase the size of your favorite one.
  • Ginger, garlic and crushed are the main ingredients for flavoring the rice.
  • Always fry the rice in slow to medium flame, if you fry on a high heat the moisture of the rice is reduced and gets hard.

Hot sauce

Garnishing 
⦁ This is home made egg fried rice so garnish with scramble egg and other aromatic leaf like coriander, chop spring onion and long thin slice leek leaf .
⦁ Black crushed pepper can be sprinkle around the rice that gives the nice look.
